for the 25th

I had to write something out for you. Yes you, reading this. I’m not writing half as much as I want to. But it’s one thing I have a real conviction to do in life regardless of my actual career in engineering.

I know I’ve been all over the place this year. I mean it’s been a crazy year. I had no idea where I’d be by the end of the year when it began. I was left to trusting God alone. And He came through 🙂

I’m writing to wish you the most beautiful Christmas ever. Because you really deserve it.

I really have no idea what a beautiful Christmas looks like. And I don’t know who or what would fit in that picture for you. Perhaps snow for a white Christmas or seeing some family members or receiving the gift you’ve been dying to get or just the simple knowledge that we are celebrating a Savior born for you and me 🙂

I didn’t think we would be here by this time of the year. At all. But what can I say? It’s a blessing. And I think that’s worth giving thanks to God for 🙂 Someone died at my church this weekend. It’s becoming clearer and clearer to me that we should just live lives of thanksgiving. We must always be thankful.

I know I’m 15 days early.

But Merry Christmas 🙂

It seemed like a dream, too good to be true,
    when God returned Zion’s exiles.
We laughed, we sang,
we couldn’t believe our good fortune.
We were the talk of the nations—
    “God was wonderful to them!”
God was wonderful to us;
    we are one happy people.

4-6 And now, God, do it again—
bring rains to our drought-stricken lives
So those who planted their crops in despair
will shout hurrahs at the harvest,
So those who went off with heavy hearts
will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing. Psalm 126:1-6

Don’t know why but I thought I’d leave you with that message. It used to be one of my favorite psalms. And it still applies today. We are so happy. And we are a blessed people. And God will do it again 🙂

Happy holidays!
